The sun has returned, and the weather is only getting warmer from here! It’s officially time for crop tops and daisy dukes. To top it off, classes have ceased for the phenomena that is Spring Break. Time to pull out your favorite bikini, hit the beach and start your vaca. But before you order your “Sex on the Beach” and suntan for hours, let’s have a little talk about our skin. Skincare is hard as it is, add a few days of groggy hangovers and sunburn and you might have a bigger problem on your hands. So here are a few traveling tips to ensure your skin is glowing before and after the chaos that is spring break!

1. Stay hydrated with H2O

Now, you might hear this from your favorite gym gurus. So, you buy the water bottle with motivational messages, religiously drinking water throughout the day. Don’t let a break from the gym be a break from hydrating. Keep a water bottle with you when you’re out and make sure to drink from it throughout the day. Throw one in your beach bag or purse.  One rule of thumb is to drink one bottle of water after every alcoholic beverage or after 30 minutes in the sun. Trust me, your skin will thank you.

2. Sunscreen, sunscreen and more sunscreen!

If you remember any of these tips, make sure this is at the top of the list! As with everything Spring Break, you’re going to be out in the sun. It should be a no-brainer to make sure to bring along some SPF but we’ve all experienced the tragedy of a sunburn one way or another. With everything else going on, let’s not add a bad burn to the mix. Here are a few good sunscreen brands to pick up and bring along with you.

3. Face Masks & Chill?

Face Masks are everyone’s best friend. From those tired under eye circles to the sun-worn skin, a mask can be the quick fix for it all. Not only that, but there are plenty of travel friendly masks on the market. When you don’t have time to do your at-home skincare routine, using masks can save you from the hassle.  Whether you prefer a sheet mask or a cream mask, you should bring all of these on your next trip to keep your skin looking fresh. Here are a few one-use masks that are sure to keep your skin ready for whatever your trip has to offer.

There you have it! Three simple tips to keep your skin looking fresh all Spring Break. Remember to Hydrate, Mask up and use your SPF! From all of the Strike family, we hope you have a safe and fun Spring Break!
